Jennifer Marcy

Jennifer Marcy

Owner & Certified Professional Pet Sitter

I have always had a passion for animals. I remember when I was a little girl wanting to take home every dog and cat I came across. Growing up I had 2 German Shepherds and lots and lots of freshwater fish. After college, I got three German Shepherds and adopted three cats. The Shepherds since passed away but my fur kids now consist of Oliver, an English Cream Golden Retriever and Fletcher, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 2 Boxers, Jake and Duke and a Pug named Lucy. I am Certified in PetTech’s Pet CPR and First Aid. I believe every pet should get the best care possible while their owners are away.  Photo of Jennifer taken by Grass Hut Studio.

Stacy

Stacy

Dilworth & Plaza Midwood Pet Sitter

I grew up in Upstate NY and eventually moved down to Long Island with my boyfriend for school. We decided on Charlotte after falling in love with the area and to expand our careers. Although I’d like to eventually work in the fitness industry as a nutritionist, I feel as though I will still continue to base part of my living around taking care of pets because being surrounded by animals has always been my favorite part of any day. I grew up with multiple animals, including dogs, cats, a rabbit, and way too many fish to count. Currently, I do not have any pets of my own, but this just means I will have even more love to go around while taking care of your furry friends! Stacy will assist us in Dilworth and the Plaza Midwood area.
Renee

Renee

Cotswold Pet Sitter

I spent my childhood in rural NY farm country. My family relocated to the Charlotte area in 1982. I’m a recent empty-nester. I share my home with a spoiled old man pit bull named Boosie and I care for feral cats. I have spent my life in the company of animals. An only child, I bonded with the dogs, chickens, cows, horses, cats and pigs we had. Taking care of animals is a responsibility I’ve known for as long as I was able to be helpful. I’d always wanted to work with animals, but life had other ideas and I ended up in telecommunications for many years. I’m so excited to return to my passion and can’t wait to meet your pets! Renee will assist in Cotswold, and South Park area.

They have quite a large family of their own with 8 dogs, many foster pups, 2 cats and 1 African Grey parrot. When she moved to Charlotte 7 years ago she adopted her first rescue dog, Rosie (a cute 8 pound Chiweenie) and at that point realized the importance of rescue and the incredible need for so many homeless pets. Erika has since become involved with local animal rescue groups and volunteers a lot of her free time working with them to help save dogs and cats in need and getting them placed into forever homes that they so deserve. She especially has a passion for the seniors and special needs and has opened up her heart and home to many. Erika will assist in Indian Land.

Emily

Emily

North Charlotte Pet Sitter

Hi my name is Emily!  I am originally from Winston Salem, NC but I have lived in the Charlotte area for approximately eight years.  I graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a Bachelor’s of Social Work and from UNC-Charlotte with a Master’s of Social Work.  I have been working professionally as a social worker for 7 years and despite my love for the work I do, I always find my way back to the four legged world 🙂   My first job in high school was working as a vet tech assistant for a small clinic and following this, I maintained working part time or full time positions in animal hospital jobs for nearly seven years. And not only, did I work in animal hospitals, I also grew up showing dogs, so I guess it is safe to say that being around four legged children is second nature.  I have also had more than 3 years worth of experience with pet sitting. I currently have two very very spoiled cats whom I consider foster fails from working in animal hospitals. Felix, I have had since he was four weeks old and he is now 15 years old and Charlie since he was three months old and he will be 11 years old this coming May.  I love working with animals and the joy and unconditional love they can bring into our lives, and I hope to one day incorporate my love for animals into my social work career.  So that is me in a nutshell but I do look forward to caring for your four legged family member while you are away 🙂  Emily will assist us in the North Charlotte area.
